BANDS THAT ARE PLAYING!!

Hey all,
So I thought the first post on Fall Fest 2 should contain some useful information - like, say, what bands are actually playing! Here's a list of the performers we have so far, with descriptions taken from the artists themselves:

Overflow Cove: Overflow Cove is an alternative old-school rock n’ roll band. Comprised of guitarist Matthew Tyler, bassist Ben Trapanese Murphy, drummer Stephen Burkot, and lead singer/guitarist Christian G-S, this little DHHS band packs one BIG punch. Combining influences from many ages of rock, Overflow Cove’s mind-blowing tones emanates from the burning attic, the desolate wasteland that the band spends hours in, and will soon sweep across venues all over Atlanta. As frontman Christian quotes “It’s just rock and roll. And that’s all that matters!”

<{The Electives}>: In a world where artists compete for the lamest lyric and the simplest song, Maskot and Corey Brooks, the members of the influential trend-setting group, <{The Electives}> aka A.S.R. (Another Stupid Rap Group) , strive to rid the hip-hop world of lyrical villains and Fruity Loops-using failures. Using their collective power of ultra lyrical consciousness, these rap heroes bring a unique and unmatched level of mystery and plain 'cooler-than-u' mentality. Atlantic Stereo: Atlantic Stereo is small band from St. Pius X with David Huttman on vocals/guitar, Patrick Robbins on bass, Benji Vernon on drums, and Patrick Angulo on lead guitar. They started off last spring as a typical basement band playing rock but have since moved on and experimented with rock/funk fusion. They released our first CD at the very beginning of summer and played their first show on Friday, 8/22/08.

Blue Sky Vendetta: BSV was formed when a math genius and a got together, jammed once, and chose a few random other bandmates who happened to play the right instruments. Somewhat improbably, this worked amazingly well, and it was inspiring how many people remarked almost immediately on the band's incredible sound. Combining elements of rock, classic rock, rock, alternative rock, Brit-pop, and rock, among other genres, this band rocked the original Fall Fest and will do so even more this year! Band members include Jimmy Nugent (guitar/lead vocals), Christian G-S (guitar/backup vocals), Arielle Parnes-Katz (bass/backup vocals), Sterling Pickett (drums), and Jonn Spencer (keyboard/backup vocals).

Highway: Highway is an atlanta band composed of four young atlanta musicians, Alex Lotito (Vocals and Guitar), Casey Williams (Lead Guitar), Drew Hart (Bass), and Joey Ziegler (Drums). Highway is a rock blues band that can be seen around atlanta venues such as maddy's and redlight cafe among others.

Nikki Warner: Nikki Warner was born in Phoenix, Arizona and has been singing for as far back as she can remember. As she got older her love for music grew beyond appreciation, she wanted to pursue a career. While attending Metropolitan Arts Institute in Phoenix, she performed as much as possible in her free time. Warner garnered a reputation throughout the school. At nineteen, Warner moved to Los Angeles. She decided to take another chance and move to Atlanta. She was signed to Epic Records not long after the move. Her sound evolved to what she calls, “Simply me. I don’t want to label it because that automatically boxes me in, it definitely has pop/rock eliminates, but I just write what makes me happy."
